The $300 Billion Betrayal
By Nick Penniman on Jun 10, 2008

The Pentagon spends hundreds of billions of dollars on weapons systems, but our troops still aren't getting what they need. It's a scandal of enormous proportions that involves deceptive corporations and complacent government officials. But the biggest problem of all is that the people in Washington who could fix it continue to ignore it.

Brilliant
I am glad to see someone, somewhere is willing to step outside of the malaise of the media and do some hard-hitting reporting that actually seeks to hold government accountable and fulfil the role of the 'fourth estate'. Brilliant stuff!!

Great documentary Nick. Nice Job! It's about time someone is getting to the bottom of this. I found this piece on current.com, someone must have clipped it there. Please continue to upload your videos there. thank you
Powerful
This was a wonderful presentation. It shows the fiscal irresponsibility of the current administration, as well as the previous republican held congresses (although the democrats are not without some guilt too).
Heck, this makes the Reagan administration look good, even though he (if I remember my facts correctly) turned us from a creditor nation into a debtor nation on military spending.
Even President Eisenhower warned us about the Military Industrial Complex. Let's hope that the upcoming administration and congress will have the backbone to reign in this abuse.
