After returning from two tours of duty in Iraq, Capt. Luis Montalvan is the highest ranking member of Iraq Veterans Against the War. Despite post-traumatic stress disorder, he is campaigning to expose the Iraq War's grim realities. He has been branded a coward and traitor, but this recipient of the Purple Heart is on a mission to expose what he calls "incompetent" leadership in the highest ranks of the military.

Iraq Veterans Against the War
How about an umbrella organization that takes the real moral high ground. Perhaps "Iraq Veterans Against All Wars".
The progressive movement seems to be full of vets and ex military who still hold on to the dubious position that there are "just wars". Instead of spending their time trying to get more benefits for
vets, they should be working hard to curtail the predation of the military industrial complex on the young unwashed who enlist to do all this needless killing. Prevention of wars is the best goal. Not trying to clean up all the mess that war causes.
Obama needs to defund the "Defense Department" and hire competent tough negotiators that understand what win-win means in a negotiation. Condeleeza Rice is clearly the counter example of this.
